L'oiseau se démarque bien de l'arrière-plan. Le cadrage est bien choisi, l'oiseau est décentré, dans la portion droite de l'image alors que son regard se dirige vers la gauche. Graphiquement, l'image est bien composée, la branche traverse l'image dans une diagonale bien pensée, du bas à droite jusqu'au haut à gauche. J'aurais aimé que la branche dans le coin inférieur droit de l'image ne soit pas coupée sur son épaisseur, l'image au plan graphique aurait gagnée en valeur. L'oiseau est net à souhait. De plus, l'oiseau est dans une position qui met en valeur ses attributs. Il y a un petit défaut, toutefois, et c'est la petite trace d'ombre d'une branche sur la tête. Bref, une image très agréable à regarder, peu encombrée et facile à lire.
The bird stands out well from the background. The placing is well chosen with the bird a little off-centre, in the right hand portion of the picture, while its gaze is directed towards the left. The image is well composed with the branch crossing the frame diagonally from lower right to upper left. I would have preferred though that the branch at the lower right had not been cropped in terms of its thickness, as the image would have been improved. The bird is as sharp as one could hope for; what's more, it is placed so as to best demonstrate its features. There is one small fault though, and that is a small trace of shadow from a branch on its head. In short, this image is very pleasant to look at, uncluttered and easy to view.
